Horsemanship Camps

Rosewood Equine’s Summer Horsemanship Camps offer a fun and educational experience for children of all ages. Campers will learn about horse care, riding, and horsemanship through hands-on activities and games. We also offer educational sessions on horse anatomy, nutrition, and behavior. We offer a half day (9-12) and full day (9-3) option, where the half day riders get one lesson per day and the full day riders get two lessons per day. Multiple camp discounts available as well as early drop off or late pick up options available.

What to Expect at Rosewood Equine’s Summer Horsemanship Camps:

Horse Care: Learn how to groom, tack, and care for horses.
Riding: Receive instruction on basic riding skills, including mounting, dismounting, and controlling the horse.

Advanced camps are designed for children looking for more advanced work in and out of the saddle. These camps are meant for children who can tack up and ride independently and know their diagonals and canter leads.
